Sally Jenkins on how to fix college sports.

There are only 2 major things to fix for college sports:
Divest the NCAA of the NCAA men's basketball tournament. It's the billion dollar gorilla in the room that makes the NCAA all about $$$$$ instead of being the governing sports body it's supposed to be.Get rid of the rules that have turned college football into a farm system for the NFL. Students who don't want to or should not be attending college should not be forced to attend college to play professional football.

Why is football not a legitimate degree program, but theatre and music are? (I know you're not explicitly saying that, I'm just making a larger point)
