Pirates are not going to make a play for Hamels. Phillies would want either Glasnow or Taillon in return, and Huntington has said those guys are not available. The other top prospect, Kingham, is down with TJ surgery, so he would not be in play at this time. I don't think the Pirates have another pitching prospect far enough along to make the Phillies interested, so long as they insist on getting a big time pitching prospect as part of the return.
Just so you know a top pitching prospect is just the "starting point " for Hamels-not the ending point. It will take multiple high level prospects to get one of the most durable and best pitchers in baseball who also happens to have a very cost friendly contract
