SIAP but any update on the health of AntKnee???

If this is true it is a sad deal hurts to end your carrier with injury. Does this dude Pat Mineo know what he is talking about ?

No doubt, about finishing a career this way. Cassar is already approved for a 7th year next year, if he wants it. But, if he hurt the same shoulder that kept him out for 2 seasons previously and he can’t come back this year then he probably isn’t coming back. He had visions of going MMA after college and I think he would have to seriously reconsider those plans too. Hoping for the best, less for PSU’s prospects this year than for Anthony’s prospects in the future.

I saw the look on Anthony's face when injured. When I read that Coach Cael said about Cassar's injury treatment..."It's up to him, really." My thoughts based on my own experiences.....was that Anthony popped his shoulder. Yes....you can pop it back in but ligaments got stretched at minimum....torn/partially torn at worse. Once it pops it is much easier to pop it again and again. I believe Cory Clark had a similar problem and wore a brace to help to keep it from popping out again. He was quite successful. But Anthony is wrestling guys twice as heavy. The only way to 100% keep it in place is surgery. Perhaps the "It's up to him, really."...indicates that the choice of season ending surgery or wearing a brace and "Giving it a Go" is up to Anthony. Pure speculation on my part.....but that is the first thought that went through my mind when I read that quote. Wishing Anthony the best....period. Love watching him wrestle......but it is his future.

So, um, the “Up to him” quote was fabricated satire by our own @slushhead. Also complete Caelspeak, but not in this instance....

Slush, maybe you need to crank out a fake piece about how Cassar is coming back in a few weeks and majoring Kerkvliet and Snyder in the room to counter your contribution to the misinformosphere.

Ok.....I will fall for beating them in the room...….but even I will need another glass or 3 to believe he is majoring Snyder. I am drunk.....not comatose :)

It would because Seth is on David Taylor's juice and Cael's cheating.
Mango, tomato, orange, grape? To what "juice" are you referring?
Also, let's put an end to the "Cael's cheating" rumors, shall we? All on this board KNOW he cheats because he certainly can't friggin coach to save his life...

Zain's top stall whine is an all time favorite. Another is McIntosh stalling against Barak. Using years as our time unit, the measurement of Burak shots per year while wrestling McIntosh is/was zero per year. Yet McIntosh was always stalling.
Forgot about that one. Classic. Of course, Matt brown was always stalling against Evans as well

Kerk can still put up serious points at NCAAs. If we have Nevills in there, our NCAA hopes are done.

Losing Cassar is huge no doubt, but this is far from the final word. It's a long season and there is just as much a chance that Iowa loses one of their studs between now and March. Verk and Berge are as big a factor as losing some points from Anthony. I am really hoping those two have an upside surprise factor come March.

It ain’t over until it’s over. There are so many variables that may come into play, including other injuries, illness, long bus rides, questionable officiating, bonus points, etc.

Just sit back and enjoy the season as it unfolds. And if we don’t win this year the world will not end.

I am grateful that we have a tremendous team and coaching staff that represents the very best the sport has to offer. If we win another title this year that’s a bonus. If not, I suspect there will be lots of future opportunities.

Each of the Nevills brothers are good guys . . . . . OUR guys. You ought to think about how you phrase your posts so you don’t come across like a jerk.

I never said anything disrespectful, he's a true freshman, needs a redshirt year. You're the jerk for calling me out however.

Considering your handle is PSUNATTY2020, you're certainly throwing in the towel early on our 2020 title chances. ;)

This is for PSU basketball

So, after Cassar injury, the team's hopes are done...

...but, the reference to PSUNATTY2020 is a prediction or hope that our basketball team wins the National championship in 2020? Or are we going for the NIT title?
