Slush fund is drying up

I read it quickly thinking I'd go over it more at a later time. It basically spelled out that a measure of a programs success is not only measured by wins and losses but also the revenue they bring in. Went on to list the programs and where they stand in that area.

Off top of my head it had Lehigh 1, PSU I believe 2nd...maybe 3rd and Iowa 4th or 5th. Like I said, ran through it quickly at work today.

Does this make Lehigh the Revenue National Champions?

I skimmed it earlier and I think it had west Virginia first, then Lehigh, then PSU. It was littered with errors and contradictions, probably why it was pulled. It read as if it was some sort of 6th grade project.
Yes! Thats right. It did have WVU first. Then some other sort of breakdowns later on in the Article where things didnt seem to compute. It was a mess...

I was really starting to question the validity of the list until I saw that Menlo and Bacone made the top 10.

The list of champions is getting complex. Can we assign Spyker's secretary the task of keeping the list updated, organized alphabetically (or in order of importance), and pinned to the top of the forum? Or would that require an official Board Meeting and Approval, coincident with a job promotion?

LOL... "regardless of expenses"

"Top Sports by Revenue is a measure of the individual sports programs at each college or university that bring in the most revenue, regardless of expenses. This ranking can give you an overall look at which sports are most popular -- and generate the most revenue -- on each campus."

We should have a Board Meeting to flush out the full list of national championships.
** "Full list" until the next time Tom Ryan says something dumb.

West Virginia Number 1??? I watched a couple of their matches. Based on Attendance .....Their tickets must be about 100,000.00 each :)
Or they could employ funny money accounting tricks . For example, maybe they allocate Big 12 TV revenue across sports instead of at the Athletics Dept level.
