What they have is a young man in a walking boot, 4 games deep into the season. Now, I got a newsflash for YOU. It takes a long time to get out of a walking boot, and then more time to get ready to play, and if a player comes back 10 games into the season, it doesn't make any sense to run him out there at that point. You heal the kid up and go 100% for next season. You are implying here that Simmons is done for the year, why else would he be need 'because it doesn't look good for Simmons'.
I got a newsflash for you... our players do not comment on their injury status because they are not permitted to. The coaching staff knows what they have in Simmons, so they really don't need to play him right now, they are using his 'absence' to evaluate the younger DEs so they know what they are capable of during game time so IF needed later in the season, they know who is ready to go. IF we had a stronger opponent weeks 1-3 we most likely would have seen Shane by now... we haven't needed him. I think there is a 75% chance we see him at some point on Friday.

TolesWho was the LB that had an enzyme deficiency, in the early to mid 2000s?
Good point.Of course you do, if he's been cleared and ready to go. He's already redshirted. What are you saving him for?

He's still in the walking boot. That, I know for sure.Simmons has tweeted 'Soon' and ''... what do you think he means? 'I'm done for the season, see you next year, I'm taking a medical redshirt'...

Someone from BWI should just watch to see if he gets on the plane....that's always a sure bet
I fondly remember my date with Scarlett JohanssonI fondly remember Maurice Humphreys boarding the team plane.

If you look at the pictures from practice yesterday he is not. His return is imminent.
If nothing else, custerdome posts his bullshit with extreme confidence. So he's got that going for himself.
