So how likely is it that Tan Tom actually allows BoJo to go against Z?

What do ya think? 33% chance? 50%? 75%?

I'll say it's around 40% he lets him wrestle.

If he does it's Valencia 8, BoJo 4

The Inside Trip podcast guys (Ohio State fans) fully endorsed having Ryan holding him back. I like the Inside Trip guys but c'mon--jockeying for seeding before your first match by preventing a marquee matchup is garbage and bad for the sport. Unless BoJo has a legit injury he should be out there. That said, I give it 50%.

There is ALWAYS some sneaky crap with Ryan....I would never want my son wrestling for him....Just the opposite type of man and value system of Cael ! Thank God we have him....

There really is no seed to protect for Bo at this point in time. Nothing to lose here, everything to gain. I say he goes.

It's all good dunk. Pumped for the game bro. Hope to see you on Sat. Tailgate is across from gate C. Lol. Have about 28 Den members so far. About 52 total. Come have a great time before we go inside an hour before the game and watch warm ups. Then hands cupped to the mouth screaming when the Rutgers offense is on the field. Lol

Tom Ryan is bad for the sport.

For what it's worth...

The Buckeyes' twitter is advertising their full line-up. I believe their Instagram page also advertised BoJo vs. Zahid and Kyle Snyder.

Keyword is 'Probable'

I don't think McKenna wrestles since he's focusing on U23s; Moore pulled out at the All-Star classic last weekend so I don't how healthy he is; I'm confident a Snyder will represent tOSU at 285...just not sure if it'll be Kyle. I expect Bo Jordan to go.

ASU schedule is no joke.
Zahid opens his season with Hall, Amine, and Jordan
Tanner Hall opens his season with Nevills, Coon, and Snyder.

A decent imitation, but does not feel like the real Spyker. Not quite right.

If he doesn't wrestle and wins B1Gs (/ goes undefeated), he's probably the 1 seed. So I could see him sitting out cause Ryan

Also Norfleet and Belshay at 84 and 97

Maybe the good folks that do the seeds and rankings should penalize this type of behavior.

If you don't wrestle you lose your spot.

I guess you are surprised. Won by five, could've easily been more.

It appears it's Z and Hall alone at the top and a significant gap to BoJo at 3.

I think it really depends on how Hall wrestles against Bo. If he opens up and wrestles with a killer-instinct like Zahid did today, I think he'll show the gap between himself and Bo (and win comfortably by 2-3 points). If he wrestles conservatively and down to Bo's game, it can go either way. Somethings I think Bo might still have over Hall that he doesn't over Zahid are size and strength. Zahid looked to be just as big and strong as Bo, but way slicker. Hall is also much quicker than Bo, but I'm not sure if he can manhandle Bo like Zahid did today.

Fair points. Reportedly, Hall did get stronger this offseason, though he will not likely ever be the size of BoJo and Z. That said, I believe his skill set will provide some separation between he and BoJo this year.

Zahid and Hall are pretty much a 50-50 tossup at this point, IMO.

I guess the correct answer to this thread is 100% chance Ryan will wrestle BoJo today and 0% BoJo would have anything for Valencia.

I can see why the security guard didn't want Bergman to enter the building (he complained about this throughout the entire dual). If I had to be frank, Bergman's commentary was awful. He consistently missed the action that was going on on the mat and was distracted by whatever was running through his mind.

I sincerely hope he works on improving his commentary; if not, they have to pair him with someone who will actually focus on the matches in front of them and give the viewers a play-by-play. The simple solution would be to just keep Bergman away from the mic.

Props for wrestling

Zero props to JD Bergman who offered a 1000-word discourse on how BoJo has dealt with injuries and puts family before wrestling.
JD is a nature nut through and through. Anything short of a Scarlett and Gray cheerleader skirt from JD is what would have surprised.
In JD's mind Bo was the better wrestler today and should have actually been acknowledged the victor.
Kind of like Frank and Lougie Bear.

It was good for college wrestling. Zahid and Bo should wrestle again in less than 3 weeks.

Was surprised by the score, and how one-sided this bout was, especially after a 4-2 win for ZV over Amine on Friday. Zahid handled Bo fairly easily.

Long season and all, though every bout is part of each wrestlers body-of-work. Seedings are big at all weights, 174 may just be among the most intriguing by seasons end.

Absolutely agree. I had to turn the sound off. "We are the greatest country in the world.......on paper" "Sorry...I missed that....had my head down" Unless he is getting paid by the word.....no excuse for the blabbering. Filled every second of air time talking.....but rarely about the match.

Lance Palmer and CJ Magrum think Bergman could be a little more homertastic.

On a side note, Hayes and M Jordan better gird their loins or the Buckeye Pin Chain may be snatched by Nolf and/or Zain after their bouts. Hayes looks spindly (and we saw Zain almost murder Maruca last year) and Jordan better get his energy level up - he looked like crap after he shot his wad in the 1st.

Campbell and Cenzo becomes very important in the dual. I like Campbell, but some of his blowout of Valencia may be due to motivation issues - we’ve seen that before with AV. Still, a pretty shocking result

Props for wrestling? Is that where we are with tOSU? We give them props for doing what they are supposed to do, which is show up and wrestle? BoJo is on the team and should be out there wrestling every dual meet. It's crazy that we are applauding a guy for going out and wrestling when he's healthy.

It's not you, either. It seems like this is the consensus now, that it's noteworthy if they wrestle their guys.
