Spanier to jail May 1

FWIW, the past few several years I've chatted with Graham at an event or two over Blue-White weekend. I was surprised that I did not encounter him at this year's B-W weekend. Later, I found that he was visiting his grandchildren that weekend, as he won't have any opportunities to do so in the coming year.

I hope she at the very least orders a new trial. We'll see if the Feds have any more fortitude, or should I say ethics, than the clowns in Pennsylvania.

What would be nice is if she would overrule Judge Bochabella’s order requiring Spanier to report to jail on May 1. I am not holding my breath, but if the Judge understands even a little about what is really going on, there is a chance.

Dude, they all know what's going on. They know it better than we all do, and in more detail. The question is if the federal judge is any different than the state judge.

Can they appeal a federal judge's decision up the line? If that is the case, maybe he'd have a shot. Those guys don't like being reversed.
