Speaking of Duke....

No the fans themselves do not hate each other... on game day it can get heated and intense.....

It would be cool if the professors from the two schools despised one another. I’d love some trash talking between academics.
If you’re a professor of a fake class, are you really a professor? I’m so confused.

Are you ok? That's the same at Duke or Kentucky. They don't promise playing time, you have to earn it. Duke has had one and done players not starting.

Ya'll are saying Roy doesn't want one and done players. YES HE DOES. I posted a dang link to quotes from ROY! He has failed to land as many as he would like.

Domination is fun. In all forms!

Strike three!

You're out!!

I see you drank a 12oz can of stupid juice this morning.

:)

Can someone call this clown out or am I alone here? You frichan use quotations to a quote I never stated. Look back up. How awful are you?

Here is my quote "Roy has even admitted he's tried to get almost every one and done recruit duke has landed but has failed. He's developed some very good teams without them. "

Everything I said was a fact, backed up by a link proving so.

Don't disagree Roy makes you earn playing time, so does K, so does Calipari, and none of them promise you playing time.

I provided a link proving myself 100% correct. GAUNTLET for you GLOV, provide a link stating that K or Calipari promise specific playing time to a player. I'll even help you out. The opposite happens with K and Wendell Carter, Carter thought he was going to be the only big but never got promised that, and Duke got Bagley to reclassify making Carter have to work even harder to earn his keep. It worked out great for both as they made each other better and both become lottery picks.

Wrong 4th time.

You operate thinking Roy and his philosophy of embracing one and doner's is the same as K's.

He recruits the same kids but he is not a fan.

I'm sick to my stomach seeing that you are steelers fan. I'd associate someone at your intelligence level with eagles fans.

Well, maybe. Even so, I'd say most true fans of both schools don't really hate the other.
I have a lot of really good friends that went to Duke. I have less problem with Duke alumni than I do with Dook fans who didn't go to school there, but "love Coach" or "wish they could have been a Cameron Crazy" or "love floor slapping defense".

There was a lot of that between NCSU and UNC when I was there. Big science stories in the news originating from NCSU that were completely full of it and profs from NCSU flipped out when UNC called them on their BS. It was fun ;-)

Interesting.

Please keep in mind that UCF's coach is a former Dook player and assistant. If this was some random team or someone from the UNC coaching tree, I guarantee that he wouldn't have been as gracious.

The only nice thing I will ever say about Coach K is that he had the proper response to Paterno's firing. Kudos to him for that. Otherwise, eff that guy.

"It was horrible, and I've respected coach Paterno my entire life and had a chance to get to know him really well in the last year of his life. I thought it was really not well done in handling the situation that—it's a difficult situation to encounter.

You had somebody who's given six decades of service to the university and done such an incredible job. Somehow, you have to let—something has to play out and respect the fact that you've gone through all these experiences for six decades. It doesn't just go out the window right at the end. I thought it was a real mistake by Penn State's leadership."

K is advised by those who worked at PSU and now work at Duke. He's one of the few coaches who has been informed about the BOT and PSU's "approach" to crisis management and media relations in the wake of the Sandusky scandal. In sum, he knows what happened.
