Again just big momentum changes. Defense giving it all to hold Michigan, only to have to trot back out on the punt fumble inside the 10. Michigan TD. What a killer. Then only getting 3 late, but still in it, giving up the big return, Another Michigan TD. Costly mistakes on special teams just sealed the deal,
Not saying we didn't have other issues, but those two plays just killed us.
You could feel the momentum shift. And the team deflated.
Thought the defense played really well, aside from some bad tackling. Such a young team, then to not have Lucas and Nassib, the defense really kept us in the game.
