Spencer out of OTT

Someone should ask Dr. Kemerer
Kinda wondering if he gets surgery or actually finds another kind of treatment without it?
Spencer Observations:
1. I think he can win NCAA's without either ACL. He did it this year. Vito may challenge but wouldn't be the favorite.
2. No way he takes next year off. He loves his teammates and they love him for good reason.
3. He can get both knees fixed this summer and come back in February. Still would be overwhelming favorite at BIGs and have 6 weeks to get ready for NCAAs
4. Olympics is only 3 years away. He would have 2 years of freestyle training and still be early 20's
5. Lee is a class act and great teammate. If anyone wants to find fault with Spencer.....bring a microscope. It will still be hard to do. Maybe Carnegie Mellon will loan you their Electron Microscope.....
6. My only complaint is that he wrestles for Iowa. Lucky Iowa

So, if he wasn't going to have surgery anyway, and could have still came back after trials, then why didn't he wrestle in the trials?Spencer Observations:

He’s not beating top tier 125s like Vito the way he wrestled against Courtney.Spencer Observations:

As someone living without an ACL I can tell you there is pain for a few weeks after the tear. The knee is also loose. After the pain subsides exercise can strengthen the knee and tighten it up. Takes time
At this point why would ever doubt Spencer and his abilities? I watched Spencer wipe the mat with Vito not that long ago. Spencer is the top tier of 125. Vito is the next tier below.
My thought is Courtney is not ever going to beat top tier 125s the way he wrestled against Spencer. Backing up, backing up, oh shoot I'm down 4-0 better try to start wrestling now! Too Late...
So he basically gave up on an Olympic dream because his leg was sore? Come on...
Because I have 20-20 vision. Spencer on that night was not the Spencer who ran through Senior Nationals. Sorry - I know he’s your future AD and there will soon be stone carvings of him propped up all around the state of Iowa like the giant Moai statues on Easter Island. 🗿 🗿 🗿
Vito and Glory are both > Courtney. Even an all timer like Spencer needs to be wrestling without being as hobbled as he was to beat guys like Vito. How do you think Rivera of 2018 would have done against Spencer in March? Suriano?
125 was terrible this year so no one could take advantage of a clearly compromised Lee at Nationals

What kind of response are you looking for? Do you think any of us have actual information about Spencer Lee's diagnoses or reasons for sitting out OTT?
S Lee wasnt going to win at trials with his recent injury. But may win a 4th title with surgery/rehab. Of course there will be some other illness or injury by then. Seems brands boys must beat the living hell out of all their kids, how else does everyone of their wrestlers have all kind of “excuses” ehh i mean injuries/illness post season.
Agree. Would also add that Spencer was "all world everything" his SR year in highschool and just like this past season everyone would have predicted hed still beat everyone and win the title. He didnt...
If only we had recent evidence, say from 4 yrs ago, of how an injury-conpromised Lee fared vs. the best guy at the weight as opposed to the next tiers down.
