I like the young Center, Kendrick Green.Other than Okorafor...I could not name one other Oline guy...that may not have happened since the early 80's...
How about the SB against the Seahawks….wasn’t just one call, it was all of them. We could play this game all day. And I didn’t say they received all the calls, I said many calls, which they have. Listening to Steeler fans complain about calls would be like listening to Duke fans complaining about getting screwed.yea like the jesse james game winning touchdown vs the patriots that the refs screwed up. BUt yea the steelers have received all of the calls in the past. lol
really a long pass is just like a punt plus they work a lot, waThose 2-3 yard passes are better then chucking it downfield and getting picked off.
Last night was the best overall game they played in a while. Ben's fumble was the only bad part and blame that on Ray McCloud, not sure what he was doing. In fact I don't know why he he is even getting so many snaps. Cody White is a better option IMO.
yea they been saying that at PSU for the last 7 yrs and still waiting!!Moore (LT) and Green (C) are rookies. Dotson (LG) is in his second year. Turner (RG) is in his first season with the Steelers. Okorafor (RT) is in his fourth season but is only 24 years old. It takes time for a young line to come together. With the exception of Turner, this is a young line.
The NFL and college are obviously very different situations.yea they been saying that at PSU for the last 7 yrs and still waiting!!
i didnt complain. I just called you out on bs.How about the SB against the Seahawks….wasn’t just one call, it was all of them. We could play this game all day. yes. But why the hell do they keep throwing that 20-30 yard out play on 3rd and 5,6,7.really a long pass is just like a punt plus they work a lot, wa
y better than those shit passes!!man if you think the O played well your sadly mistaken!!
He won’t stop. He’s like my 11 year old daughter. I keep telling her, “know when to stop talking”.i didnt complain. I just called you out on bs.
This happened a lllloooonnnnggggg time ago. Mid 70's.I actually can see them finishing last in the division. But, beers are on me if they get into the playoffs.
And that started the call of ‘Chicken on the hill with Will’ for home runs. This happened a lllloooonnnnggggg time ago. Mid 70's.
I was listeningto the Pirates play one night. Bob Prince was the radio announcer. The Buccos were down a run or two. Stargell was at the plate in the bottom of the ninth. Prince says something to the effect of "If Wilver hits it out of here, I will buy everyone a bucket of chicken who was in some chicken store on Mt Washington." Wouldn't you know, Stargell hits a home run and the Buccos win. It cost Prince a tidy little sum in the day because many folks were in the store at the time, or somewhow were included in the giveaway.
I was being sarcastic...in case you didn't realize it....mistakenly thought the thread subject was asking for Steeler fans' thoughts. With all the technology and tools available, it still surprises me how bad calls by the refs are still made in the NFL...I did like what I saw in the game where the refs huddled and premised their call by something like 'after concurring,...'-humility and human honesty are more than acceptable in these high-pressure situations by all parties. The Steelers have bigger long term problems than the refs, but it hurts more when you're down with no clear path to recovery...and any momentum is welcome even for the short term. This year is a chance for some young and not highly drafted younger players to step up....while I'm 'whining', I was waiting for Troy P. to go into the locker room, change the style of his hair, and change into 34's uni, and show him how a safety tackles and disrupts the other team's offense.Better to think that after years of the Steelers benefiting from many questionable calls, the officials have decided as a group, to screw the Steelers this year and make sure they lose every game. And why would they suddenly do that? What’s the end game? I guess it’s to continue to help the Patriots win every game like Steeler fans thought for years….oh wait, the Patriots suck…so what team is the conspiracy helping this year?
The quote was more like '...if it's chicken on the hill, send the Gunner the bill'...thought it cost him $400-500 that night, but chicken was much cheaper then. This happened a lllloooonnnnggggg time ago. Mid 70's.

This from a guy who excused Tennessee fans’ behavior due to bad officiating when the officials got the call right. Maybe you have a problem with your 11 year old daughter because she’s smarter than you. Maybe you need to know when to start listening. He won’t stop. He’s like my 11 year old daughter.
