Steelers may limp into the playoffs, but they are soooo bad.

Just announced that gm Colbert will step down after 2022 nfl draft. Why the heck would Steelers want this?

After the draft huh, this draft/free agent period will determine the next 5 years for the Steelers and will be on him....

Why would Steelers have anyone who is leaving determine the course of the team in such a critical year unless he has no power at all.

First round of games next weekend will be weak. The 3 Division winners will romp. NE might put a fight but no one else in the AFC. Same in the NFC although Dallas vs. Az should entertain. The regular season is too long and just decimates teams. It makes for wonderful drama in the end but the playoffs are really for the 8 divisional winners.

If the 49ers lose (tied right now) then I agree the Saints and Eagles are unlikely to pull off upsets but the 49ers could. And Dallas is in trouble against the Rams or Cards IMO

The AFC is more open other than KC likely destroys the Steelers. The Patriots, Raiders and Chargers all could give the Bengals and Bills a fight.

Bills at home, right? Gonna be pretty cold next weekend and who knows about lake effect snow there.

Because he is very smart, and the Steeler's owners and Tomlin know he is very smart.....

The offense is almost unwatchable. And that is coming from someone whose favorite all time player is Ben.

Stillers will put up a pesky fight against KC but ultimately don't have nearly enough to win. Glimmer of hope is if Hill is still gimpy then a remote shot but that will probably just mean Kelce gets 20 catches for 300 yards. Maybe 24-10 type game. Hopefully this playoff appearance does not screw up who they are eyeing to draft.

Steelers played arguably the hardest scheduled and in a brutal division.
Nothing arguable about it, they had the toughest regular season schedule this year. But what made this season brutal on offense was the patchwork, young offensive line they put together. Maybe they'll develop into something better, but man they were not good this year. I would think that played into Ben's decision of whether he'll retire or not.

Last two games they started a new center named Haussenaurer instead of the rookie from Illinois. Think that helped the running game a bit.

Yes they did and only an idiot would dispute this!!

Ha. That's an example of how Najee Harris probably ran behind a better O-Line at Alabama than he has so far with the Steelers.

Hassenauer played at Alabama but was primarily a reserve. He was undrafted and ended up with the Steelers last season and played some when Pouncey was injured. Didn't play well last year but has been somewhat better this year. The guys ahead of him at Alabama were drafted and now playing elsewhere in the NFL.

Hold up a minute. I see a potential OT coming up with LA and LV. That brings the possibility of a tie back into play. Now 29-22 LV. 4 min to go. 😜

Browns gifted the playoffs to the Steelers. With average qb play, Browns would have beaten Steelers twice.

As a lifelong Steeler fan (with a lot of memorabilia including a live-signed Rocky Bleier pic), I have not watched any NFL games for the past several years, though I follow the news and standings. However, I tuned in tonight only to see what was going on in the LV/LAC game because it determines the Steeler post-season prospect. Suddenly, halfway into the 4th qtr, LAC becomes unbeatable and comes back from a 15 pt deficit. If this game ends in a tie, I'm completely done with the NFL.

If the Chargers get a FG on this drive the Raiders would be dumb not to just kneel on the ball and end the game in a tie. The NFL is going to have to rethink when games are played.

That said, both these team beat the Steelers so I won't be that mad.

Take a knee, Carr! Payback for the Immaculate Reception! LOL, I love this! And I am definitely not a Raider fan.

The Raiders definitely aren't going to attempt a FG--a block and return and they lose when they only need to run out the clock

Did you guys see the cutaway shot to the Steelers fan at this game?!! Frickin’ hilarious!!
