Sums up this season

Michigan is only beating Indiana 7-6. I wonder how their fans feel?

They're 9-1 and just took the lead. They probably feel confident their team will be fine.

As "average" as we've been this year I never thought for a second we'd lose today. This game did sum up our season. Solid but underwhelming.

This year, we just didn't have the mojo or the moxie to make a couple extra plays. If we sat at 10-1, we would be a very weak 10-1. Would you feel better at 10-1? Because we very easily could be and still have our weaknesses.

We'd have one less weakness. We'd be able to close games.
Michigan exposed our weaknesses but I'll take a very weak 10-1 over a weak 8-3. I'm sure Ohio State is thrilled they're 10-1 not 8-3. I feel like that's actually a perfect comparison right now

Of course I'd feel better. I'd still see the weaknesses but we wouldn't have blown 4th quarter leads to OSU and MSU.

OSU has it's weaknesses too but most of the time they find a way to come up with the big plays they need to win the close games (including today and against PSU). PSU has lost a lot of those close games over the past few years. I don't think it's luck just like I don't think it's bad luck that PSU seldom seems to come up with those loose balls.

Isn't that the difference between being a great team and being an elite team? Seems like I heard that somewhere....

PSU wouldn't be an elite team even if they were 10-1. Elite teams put a beating on most weaker opponents. They might get caught off guard once in a while but not too often.

At what point did PSU look elite this season? Pitt and 3/4 vs. OSU come to mind but that's about it. Everything else has been a struggle.

I know it’s all Rahnes fault but elite teams have elite players. We have maybe an elite DE and that’s it

This is probably one of the weakest 8-9 win PSU teams that we've seen.

Strange team. Offense looked good early, defense was terrible. As the season progressed, the seesaw reversed. Defense is still weak in the middle, but have improved. Offense shows flashes, but Sanders isn't a home run back and Trace has been hurt/struggled.

since start of this season QB run has been central to offense. now we have a QB who cannot run and has one of the worst passing records of any QB in the BIG. this is not the same OFFENSE that beat Pitt.
