I truly hope that this is an actual injury and not some stupid selfish issue. I thought we did a good job of recruiting quality individuals and not selfish players. If he can go, hopefully he's ready to contribute.

I don't want to hear anything about looking out for yourself. If you're on a team, you play if you can help the team. Screw yourself. That's the base line of team. Anything else and you're scum. Sorry, but that's it.

Perhaps there is some concern by the player and family that further aggravation of whatever injury he has could result in a chronic issue if it is not given sufficient time to heal? I understand he is a difference maker and all if us would really like to see him play but we don't know the current situation.

I think it's time this program does a fearless moral inventory and perhaps an internal investigation into exactly why 1 or 2 players, each year, are the recipients of either career ending injuries or "held out medical" casualties only to return later with absolutely no explanation given to the nature of the injury.

No other program in America handles things this way. Do you think for a second that if this were Michigan or Ohio State, that a key player would be held out with no explanation whatsoever for the nature of the injury or the time frame for return? Hell even the god damn whereabouts of the kid is a freaking NATO war secret. This is ridiculous.
