I don’t feel bad for the school or the fans but I do feel bad for Rutgers’ Senior football players.
Rutgers is the ONLY team in the conference to have not reached a bowl game in any of the last four/five seasons. So all Seniors on Rutgers football team did not have the chance to participate in a bowl game.
I for one am lucky that my own college experience at PSU 2000-2004 included the 2002 Larry Johnson season or I myself would have suffered five college football seasons (as a fan/student) without a bowl game.
