Thanks slush. This is awesome.

Through 12 BTN wrestling telecasts, viewership is up 67% compared to 2018-19.

The PSU/Iowa dual set a viewership record, 11% higher than the next highest.

BTN+ is streaming nearly 100 duals in 2019-20.

BTN is carrying more duals this year than ever before.

Hopefully, at some point, they'll televise more than just the finals of the B1G Tournament on BTN.

  • Cornell vs. Princeton (1:00 PM, ESPN+)

It's only the Ivy League, but (assuming Cornell beats Penn the day before), Cornell will have a 92 match Ivy League win streak (over 18 years) and a 17 year Ivy League title on the line. Cornell will have only one of their five rostered AAs in the lineup (Arujau, Yianni, and Dean on ORS, Womack injured). Darmstadt vs. Brucki should be fun to watch.

Is Darmstadt back? Thought he was injured.

Yeah, I'd be surprised if he took the mat vs. Brucki. Cornell was off last weekend. The weekend prior, Darmstadt took the mat to receive a forfeit but then sat later in the day when the other team had a wrestler. So, nothing results-wise to indicate he's back back.

So sayeth Rob Koll this week:

197 Ben Darmstadt: It’s great to have Ben Darmstadt back at 197. Ben came into the season very light and wanted to give 184 a shot. He was affected by the weight loss and not nearly as not nearly as effective at the weight. (Ok, that last sentence was to illustrate that my UNC education wasn’t a complete waste. At least I know the difference between affect and effect. Unfortunately, that’s about the extent of it). The good news for Ben is it didn’t take him anytime to put the weight back on. He was injured during the Columbia match but was ready, if need be, for last weekend’s Brown/Harvard matches.

Darmstadt with a :24 pin against Penn yesterday. Nothing will stop him from facing Brucki this afternoon.

Wow, 51 out of 60... Anyone know without looking at PSWC data the highest PSU has scored? I seem to remember 45 or 47 against perhaps Bucknell a few years back.
