Player #1 played 7 top 50 defenses. He averaged 9.2 touches per game and 10 yards per play whilst averaging 93 yards a game and 0.57 TDs per game.
Player #2 played 3 top 50 defenses. He averaged 6.3 touches and 7.2 yards per play whilst averaging 45.6 yards and 0.33 TDs per game.
Player #3 played 9 top 50 defenses. He averaged 4.3 touches per game and 16.2 yards per play whilst averaging 70.3 yards and 0.5 TDs per game.
Player #4 played 1 top 50 defense and a pile of crap. We all know who this is: it's Ashton Jeanty. Jeanty played two defenses in the top 100 of yards per carry allowed. He averaged fewer yards per carry against Oregon than Singleton and Allen both did and fewer yards per carry against Oregon than Warren did against Ohio State. That's all I have to say about that.
The other 3 are Tyler Warren, Ryan Williams, and Travis Hunter. You can guess which is which.
Player #1 has better numbers in every category except yards per play, where he's second behind #3.
Oh, and one of these guys is also an otherworldly blocker, which means he's an unstoppable nightmare for defenses because he not only creates a run gap and a coverage responsibility but does so at an exceptionally high level.
And as for passing defense, all I'm gonna say is, I was around for both Charles Woodson and, heck, Chris Gamble. That guy is not as good as Chris Gamble, and he shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as Woodson except to say he isn't Woodson.
