Just learned from a source that Adam Fisher has completed an interview elsewhere for a head coach job, but AD Pat Kraft is supposed to meet with him today to discuss the possibility of him staying on staff in the event that he does not get the Penn State head coach job. Take that for what it's worth. He's got obvious ties to Penn State and is well known as a solid recruiter, so it would make sense for just about head coaching hire to keep him on board.
On top of that, I've also learned a bit more about Pat Kraft's previous coaching searches (Temple, Boston College). He's always liked Earl Grant (now BC head coach), but I'm not sure I see him leaving the Eagles after just receiving an extension. Other names that he's eyed up in the past include Charleston HC Pat Kelsey and Cincinnati's Wes Miller. Both are names to watch, but I think Miller could be a bit of a tough pull. As for Kelsey, his name keeps popping up among several sources and could be a name on the rise.
There is no push to get things done quickly, as the admin wants to make sure this is done right and they vet all the top candidates.
