A bit of Stones trivia that has nothing to do with how they have aged.
The song that pretty much put them on the map was "Satisfaction" which introduced the fuzz guitar sound to the masses. Keith played his Les Paul through a Maestro FZ-1 fuzz into a Fender Twin amp. The same amp and fuzz were later used on the Electric Prunes hit "I had too much to dream last night." That is, the exact same amp and the exact same fuzz unit that Keith had used on Satisfaction, as the amp and fuzz were owned by the RCA studio where both songs were recorded.
