The Official Penn State Football Theme Song for 2017.

If you go back to the 80's to the cassette tape "We want the Lion" there's a great version of Eye of the Tiger..."Eye of the Lion" lyrics by Bob Dillman, recording by Wendy Williams, Skytop Recording...would enjoy hearing that one in Beaver Stadium this Fall.....

Find that and shoot a soundcloud bro. Would love to hear it. When I got to PSU, people kept talking about "Cartoon", which I suppose is fine, if your idea of rock and roll is the Smothers Brothers, but there just wasn't any good, real rock around here back then. Part of why I ventured out west.

And "Velveeta" doesn't count either: They suck, and they're disrespectful to the music they play.

With that said, and I digress further, but "August Room" is the best band in this town. Grew up with the singer. They are excellent.

This is the year folks.

Not playin.

National Championship. It's on.
You and Mr. Potter must be smokin' some really good stuff. Can we win it? Yes. Will we? No. The schedule is too tough and the defense is not tough enough. That said, if you and Mr. Potter are right I will be among the 1st to acknowledge your perspicacity.

I think the defense is "tough" enough. Do you believe that the defense isn't "good" enough?

That would be fair: They gave up 52 to USC, 38 to Wisconsin, 31 to Indiana, 49 to Michigan, and 42 to Pitt. This defense, loses two of those defensive ends, one starting linebacker, and two starters in the secondary. The new players coming in are most likely freshmen or sophomores in every case, other than the linebacker spot.

Yes, at this point it's hard to look at our defense and say that we have all the pieces in place.

But, what if, and I am just spit balling here, but, what if, this defense finds a better pass rush and forces more turnovers?

I was equating tough with good, so I should have said they are not good enough. As to "what ifs", what if Saquon or Trace go down? The bottom line is, the schedule is too difficult from Michigan to the end.

You are probably right. The back to back of Michigan and Ohio State is brutal. Hey, that's like 10 times in our history they sack us with that back to back deal. Once again our conference opener is on the road, not at home, also.

We continue to be treated like a red headed step child in this conference.

Actually, I am seldom right when it comes to predicting, so if I say it won't happen, it actually will. Keep the faith.:)

I'm not clear on your record with predictions: I'm not obsessed with keeping track records of posters, on how often they're "right".

I can direct you to about 20 to 25 posters on here, who ARE though, if you'd like?

My last correct prediction was in 1995.:(
I will make one prediction though, with confidence. Win or lose, it will be an exciting year.
