Football James Franklin's gusty decisions help seal 26-25 victory for Penn State

This game was a perfect reflection of the year.

There is a group of reasonably competitive middle-of-the-pack teams in the conference. Minnesota is one of them. PSU is slightly better than these teams. It is a solid Conference #3.

A Conference #3 would not be good enough to get voted into the previous Top 4 playoff system. I would expect that this will be confirmed on the field this year. Reaching the Final 4 is unlikely. It is much more likely that this year will be like most other Franklin years. Respectable, but not good enough to win a Big Game against a complete team that has had time to prepare.
We'll see when we host a playoff game. Win that one and everything after that is gravy.

Army not holding up their end of the bargain. Still possible they or Tulane would be higher.
Yeah, Tulane is where things get tricky--I never thought Army would pull it off but had some hope that Tulane could
Wyoming is making Boise State work--if they lose (doubt they will) the Big XII is definitely in

We're 10-1 and #4 in the nation. Suck it.

Go run around chasing some aliens with Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster whilst screaming "hyperinflation!" repeatedly at the top of your lungs.
