UCLA and WVU did us favors today with solid wins. We need a strong resume still to stay ahead of the SEC CCG loser in the final poll.

Wisconsin won't win hosting Oregon next week but UCLA and Maryland and USC all can/should win their games which would be further resume boosters.

"Our fans" kept commenting what an incredible job the b1g Officiating Crew was doing. They were amazed by how consistent and excellent the b1g Officiating was both last night and last week against duhO$U.

Ummmmm...... he ran past two different Officials who were holding their hands out for him to give them the ball, then ran the entire length of the field, did a small celebration with his family and then tossed the ball up to where his family and friends were sitting (large group as he's originally from Pittsburgh [North Allegheny]). Dipshit troll-boy is 100% wrong as per usual as the broadvast camera was on him the entire time and the broadcast did not miss the next play snap.

Everyone gets a bye in that sense its multiple weeks off before you play regardless. I think the teams with actual byes may have too much time off.

If we win out we are 11-1 and likely ranked third and if Ohio state and Oregon win out they are likely in the BIG championship game. With our high ranking we likely get a home playoff game along with the loser of the Ohio State Oregon game. The advantage to us in this scenario is we get two weeks off and can use that time to rest up and heal. If we are in the championship game and lose we get one week off and one extra very tough opponent. The conference champion would still get two weeks off but with playing a tough opponent to get the extra week off.

I think I would rather be in our position with an extra week off and not have to play in the conference championship. With the 12 team format, winning the conference championship could be meaningless unless you are a team outside looking in and have to win the conference championship to get into the playoffs.
