Gutsy win & credit to Franklin for being a ballsy son of a gunTwo screwjob spots in a row there by big cheaters - #6 had the 1st Down where caught it before being pushed backwards - then they marked 44 for a loss when the ball hit at 35.

Keep hoping.Better bring a better game next week or Maryland could give us some problems.
Brosmer had a decent game except for the INT and their wide receivers significantly outperformed ours. What? Good passing attack? MN ranks like 68th in the nation in passing.
Allar was heavily criticized today--yet Allar had a higher completion percentage and more yards with WRs that were significantly outplayed.Brosmer had a decent game except for the INT and their wife receivers significantly outperformed ours.
It just had to be Minnesota coming off a bad loss and a bye week.
Bucknuts ran the clock out on PSU in a similar situation. That’s what good teams do.
We’ll see what happens.
There are plenty of teams with two losses who wish one of those losses was a “painful win”.Seriously. This team is hard to watch too often. WVERY team we play has good WR play. Even so so teams. Why??? It should not be painful to win like this.
lol Penn state 244 yards passing Minnesota 175.Brosmer had a decent game except for the INT and their wife receivers significantly outperformed ours.
You get the honors of starting the UPSET ALERT thread for the next gameBetter bring a better game next week or Maryland could give us some problems.
Warren is not a WRlol Penn state 244 yards passing Minnesota 175.
Josh Pate will beat him to it.You get the honors of starting the UPSET ALERT thread for the next game

So what we aren’t supposed to throw to him? Your post was nonsenseWarren is not a WR
Warren is not a WR
He would be Minnesotas tooHe's our #1 receiving option.
21/28 244 2 TDs no turnovers--in case anyone's confused
Who cares? You’re seriously not celebrating right now? After all us fans have been through? Just beat Maryland.11 .5 pt favorite, up by 1 with under 6 min to play.
This is why we continually fail the eye test.
What have we been through? We're 10-1 and clinched a playoff spot. That's great. That's goal #1. Have to win now in the playoff for a real celebration.Who cares? You’re seriously not celebrating right now? After all us fans have been through? Just beat Maryland.
The amazing kicker that made 73% of his kicks b5 tonight? The timing of this game is not on our side. If we don’t get a big score, Minnesota should have plenty of time to run the clock and kick a field goal with their amazing kicker.
Yep you’re clearly a troll. Bye Lando. Thanks for the confirmation. What have we been through? We're 10-1 and clinched a playoff spot. That's great. That's goal #1. Have to win now in the playoff for a real celebration.
He won the Big Ten kicker of the year last year. Had made his last 11 fgs.The amazing kicker that made 73% of his kicks b5 tonight?
Still rooting for Army but they have no shot. You can tell they've played the 134th hardest schedule aka the easiest one.
Are you talking about Paterno still? That was two coaches ago and more than a decade--my God--move onYep you’re clearly a troll. Bye Lando. Thanks for the confirmation.
Yupp--and the SOS still sucks even with that added bonus built in. Too bad Pitt sucks and couldn't beat L'ville today. The problem is, ND gets a good SOS rating for playing Army and Navy and these games are essentially FCS level.
PSU's pass coverage is questionable. Every team finds lots of open spots.Seriously. This team is hard to watch too often. WVERY team we play has good WR play. Even so so teams. Why??? It should not be painful to win like this.
They held Carter really bad and Dani wasn’t tryingDid we have a sack?
I believe we had what 1 conversion on 3rd down, and handed them 9 pts...yet still won against a solid team. Amazing. What a sport.
To be fair, in a zone defense there's always going to be open spots if your receivers can read a defense--Minnesota did a solid job finding those todayPSU's pass coverage is questionable. Every team finds lots of open spots.
We have some of the worst fans ever. Just pathetic posts throughout the game. The ones who are loudest about deserving a winner are the ones who least deserve it. Please find another hobby.
Rojas had the only sack per the box score. Minny sacked Allar twice. PSU DLine has had their moments and also been pretty average during stretches as well.Did we have a sack?

Why not this year in the playoffs, when it counts.Well, I’ll take! Franklin keeps winning games he would lose in the past. Next needs ti get over osu hump next year.
Durant was an animal tonight. Our 3rd down conversion rate has struggled especially since we can't run consistently in these bigger games.According to the box score, we had 1 (Rojas).
9 TFLs as well.
Our 3rd down conversion rate is what neutralized the advantage we had everywhere else. Minnesota was aided greatly by special teams (punt block, XP block return for 2), but our fake punt run by Reynolds was a huge part in sealing the game.
Probably couldn't play them until the title game but I'd take that lolWhy not this year in the playoffs, when it counts.

I agree on our over persuing the qb trying to get a sack. The other thing our DL doesn't do is put their hands up to knock down passes or tip them.Rojas had the only sack per the box score. PSU DE's and LB's over run too many potential sacks. They need to slow down a little when they're free to the QB and make sure they tackle him. One little move and they fly by wasting too many opportunities with some of the resulting scrambles ending up as 1st downs ... DDS seems to be leading the B10 in that category.
