Football James Franklin's gusty decisions help seal 26-25 victory for Penn State

FINALLY they line up and push Allar forward for a yard.... Should work 80+ % of the time.

The other cute stuff hasn't seemed to work even 50% of the time. Teams have seemed to adjust to the Warren shotgun play as well. Guess PSU needs to call some other stuff out of that formation to keep D's honest, like a pass or....

Why oh why oh why does Warren wait 30 mi utes before driving forward.

Warren is incredible.

But he rarely breaks a tackle.

I’d rather see Beau on 3rd and short.

Interesting discussion about letting PSU score, so Minny gets the ball back.

We know that Franklin is 0-1 against that strategy.

If Franlin doesn't kick it on 4th, the clock stops on the change of posession so may as well throw it. But now it's 4th and 1....

I think everyone should know by now never to score in that situation--Ohio State even went down up 2 scores today

Give CJF a lot of credit there - he's seen enough of the inconsistent defense unable to make a late game stop (a la duhO$U the latest example).... he wasn't going to take the teams destiny out of the offenses hands.

I think we lose this game had CJF decided to punt, I think we lose.

Gee, the run up the middle game has been so much better with Allar in there.

You might be right but that was due to the coaching staff making so many mistakes prior to that.
