We all know that Penn State guys are focused on bonus points, and that they are a big reason for the current 39 dual meet winning streak and NCAA tournament success.

It should be somewhat comforting to know that 6 of the current starters (if you include Rasheed) are in the top 10 for career bonus point percentage and 7 are in the top 15. Nick Lee is a big difference maker and welcome addition in this regard, as is Rasheed. Joseph is also climbing the ladder.

# Name Seasons Career Bonus Point Wins Career Matches %

1 David Taylor 2011-2014 125 137 91.2%
2 Jason Nolf 2016-2018 71 79 89.9%
3 Nick Lee 2018-2018 17 21 81.0%

4 Ed Ruth 2011-2014 104 139 74.8%
5 Zain Retherford 2014-2018 86 115 74.8%
6 Bo Nickal 2016-2018 59 79 74.7%
7 Mark Hall 2017-2018 35 52 67.3%

8 Jeff Prescott 1989-1992 65 105 61.9%
9 Shakur Rasheed 2016-2018 27 46 58.7%
10 Ross Shaffer 1936-1938 19 33 57.6%
10 Cary Kolat 1993-1994 38 66 57.6%
12 Andrew Alton 2011-2014 47 82 57.3%
13 Matt Brown 2012-2015 76 134 56.7%
14 Vincenzo Joseph 2017-2018 21 38 55.3%
15 Jim Martin 1986-1989 92 168 54.8%

By that time we’ll have Cael and Casey’s boys on the team on a 75% defrayed tuition rate.
Just because I can't help myself. Has this 75% defrayed tuition rate been approved by the vodka compliance officer or will this be another example of Penn State shirking the rules to their benefit?

Shocked Jimmy Martin from Danville and Cary Kolat from Jeff Morgan aren't higher.
