Just read this story from the Ticker on the right side of BWI and found it interesting.
The next time we want to slam a kid for rethinking his college choice, remember this story and what a lot of them go through.
Now, that is also why I'm not a fan of a kid verballing unless he is 100% sure. The antics, games, commitment videos are all silly. Nordin is a perfect example. Don't make a video about one school, if you are hoping the coach of another school will come knocking on your bedroom door one night. It would be nice if parents and coaches could be better mentors for these 16-18 year olds. It appears that Stoops got a kid with a good head on his shoulders that understood the gravity of the decision at hand.
