Ah, they were just a bunch of fools. I don't believe he was on the hot sot, but if he was, he certainly never should have been. Fans today are absurdly ridiculous.
The only people who had Franklin on the hot seat were Penn State haters, our rivals and their fans and a few Penn State fans who just don't like Franklin. No one could logically make the argument that he ever was on the hot seat.

It's a big yinz'er term.....very popular in the Burgh. I would say it loosely translates as a loser or goofball. Not sure the derivation - know we never used it growing up in Erie, so it isn't a broad Western PA thing, but heard it often in the Burgh when I lived there, so pretty sure it is originally from the Burgh.
First time I heard it used was by a friend from Fall River, MA. I don't know where it came from- it just fits sometimes.
CJF doesn't need to worry until she speaks......
