tO$U Screaming for Knowles head after ONE season lol.

I've been in the business of sports for 27 years, what fans think about sports is very different from the reality of the professionals who work inside of it on every level, players, coaches and administration. That is truth and fact.
I don't believe for a second Harbaugh would want Stroud. I think he sees a short QB that doesn't read defenses and he'd be forced to take him. See his success against him.

Maybe--it will be interesting to see what Irsay does.
Houston maybe--could be awkward if he has to draft Stroud

It's not so much that it is Stroud; it's moreso that it's a Buckeye QB. They don't fare so well in the NFL, even if they are all world in college.

Any coach that would pass on a player based on a bias of a rival college will never make it. Jim Harbaugh isn't a moron, if he needed a QB and CJ Stroud was the best on the board it wouldn't matter one bit that he is from Ohio State. Not one bit.
CJ Stroud is basically the most prolific passer in the history of one of the best programs in the history of the game of football. JT Barrett has a few more yards (1200) and a few more TDs (19) but over 400 more attempts.
That's a resume that deserves a shot. Every player is different. Should Saquon Barkley or Miles Sanders be judged on the fact Curtis Enis, KiJana Carter, DJ Dozier & Blair Thomas didn't work out?

Never said it's because of bias. Harbaugh played him and beat him twice.
Do you want a list of the most prolific passers in FBS history and their success in the NFL?

Do you know what a straw man is?
CJ Stroud will be graded as either the 1 or 2 QB in this draft period. Andre Ware and Graham Harrell have zero bearing on CJ Stroud's pro potential.

No.

Doesn't change the fact that RBs did get judged off their predecessors. It didn't linger as much for Barkley and Sanders because Enis was 20 years prior by the time Saquon hit the draft and Larry Johnson all but broke the streak of bad luck injuries and poor output.

The Buckeye QBs keep getting drafted. I do think Fields falling had something to do with Haskins failure to live up to the hype more than any film he put on the field. Stroud will be drafted just fine, I assume, but honestly yesterday was the best film he's put out. Surviving pressure and scrambling for 1st downs against UGA was huge.

Still, the question becomes can he do that EVERY week for 18 straight?

Do you want to go through QBs that went 1 or 2 and shouldn't have?

It has nothing to do with me. It happens every draft, people miss on evaluation because the players and those evaluating are human. The pro scouts evaluate players the best they can based on who the player is, physical attributes and game performance. That's how they grade them and draft them.
By your same logic then Brandon Smith should have been drafted higher due to the fact he was a linebacker at Penn State, who has tremendous success producing NFL linebackers.

Correct--evaluations are missed. Harbaugh has beat Stroud twice--he likely doesn't want to build a franchise around him.
And again I have never said it's because he played at Ohio State--not once. You keep claiming that for some unknown reason

This is just a silly take
You think Harbaugh is going to be okay with being forced to take a QB that he doesn't want? You've seen what Michigan has done against Stroud the last 2 years, correct? To the point some want Day fired.

I agree he will be graded extremely high. Whether he pans out or not remains to be seen. The draft is an educated crap shoot. The biggest difference now is with the rookie salary slots, it doesn't kill a team to miss on picks as bad as it used to. So teams might be willing to reach a little more to get the all important QB.

Tons of great college players don't make it in the pros. On the flip side, lots of late draft picks make it big. Tom Brady might be drafted a bit higher knowing how that turned out. Ben Roethlisberger might have ended up somewhere a bit better than Miami of Ohio for his college career.

Does that mean the objective of college is to get an education?
The objective of college is to get a job in the desired profession...hence many of those here to play football plan on make that their career after. A degree is secondary.
