Tom, a small request...

Is there a way to limit the number of "important threads" at the top of the board. In the new format, they take up more space and push the more recent topics way down the page. It's not so bad on desktop, but is a bit of a bear on mobile.

I know you need a way to keep important info from being lost, so am just throwing this out as one potential improvement in the new format. Thanks.

I check them every few weeks, to see if they are still relevant, IMHO.

I will think about different approaches that might work best with the new format. Give me some time on that.

Tom,

I'm not sure the March Madness thread is still relevant.

With the mod functions in this format....is there a way to merge the threads?

I never even glance at the pinned posts. There are too many IMO. If you pin that many, it decreases their importance overall, and I stopped paying attention to them. Maybe if it was limited to 2-3 I'd notice them more often. For me, they just get in the way of the content I really want to see and I scroll right on by without a second thought.

Thanks, Tom. It will obviously take some time to adjust after so many years in the old format.

If possible, maybe they can all be moved to a new "Pinned Forum". That will clean up the main forum and for those that need to refer to those past messages, just fo to that forum.
