Eric Singleton Jr. Recruiting Profile

Eric was rated a Rivals 5.4 star coming out of high school.

What a meteoric and obviously unpredicted rise for this young man.

And another lowly rated but highly productive wide receiver.

That can’t possibly be true. Know-it-all Lando stated unequivocally that players opted out of bowl games because they were meaningless but they would never blow off their teammates in playoff games. He’s a football expert. He told us so.

Yeah, that seems to happen quite often, and too often if you ask me.

That's the risk--some kids miss home or don't adapt to a different environment

It's not like Singleton is visiting OSU, Maryland, WVU, and VaTech while ignoring us. He's a state of Georgia kid visiting primarily SEC schools. Jawja didn't even make the list and I would have thought that was a lock.

While I get the negative attitude about this with regard to our WR room, one has to be reasonable and understand that we aren't going to look at the portal ratings and simply offer the top 20 WRs listed by Rivals, on3, 247. It's just not how it works.

Some of these kids are taking bags without even visiting. I don't think that is what we want. Is it?

I mean, if Singleton was taking money and came here without visiting I wouldn't be mad lol

Going to the portal isn't opting out--I never once said guys wouldn't enter the portal
Opting out is literally sitting out to prepare for the draft but you know that--you just know that won't happen and can't admit I'm correct.
