Two in a row. Maybe #7 again this year for two in a row (although UCF should jump us with the Auburn win). Still, 7 and 8 and a likely top 10 next year is the making of something special. Way to go CJF and staff!
Top 25 last year's final AP (2016/17) poll below and likely 2017/18 finish in parentheses below(Just my .02, not actual yet as it has not come out yet)
1 Clemson 14-1 (4)
2 Alabama 14-1 (1 or 2)
3 USC 10-3 (12)
4 Washington 12-2 (15)

21 Louisville 9-4 (NR)
22 Tennessee 9-4 (NR)
23 Utah 9-4 (NR)
24 Auburn 8-5 (13)
25 San Diego State 11-3 (NR)
Notable Moves
UCF (NR) to 7/8
ND (NR) to 11
The basic takeaway from this two year sample is that programs don't turn on a dime, and most of the top 8 pretty much stay in the top 8 (or close to it). Looking forward to a great season next year. We will miss 12 key contributors but the staff has really brought in excellent young talent, so I am looking forward to our RS Sophs, RS Frosh and a few true frosh making a big impact in '18!
