1) You never ever really know someone.
Jerry ran amok for decades under the radar. It's amazing, really. Obviously, it's sickening. But amazing how one can fool so many.
2) The Pennsylvania State University wasnt who we all thought she was.
Personally, I think most top Universities are just as dysfunctional as ours. Only difference is that we now KNOW just how dysfunctional PSU is.
In closing, sometimes I wish I didn't now know what I know. I miss my blissful 80's at Penn State. Truth does sometimes hurt. But, people much wiser and stronger than I fought many battles in the past for justice and to make the world a better place. In that, I find peace of mind. We WILL come out of this a stronger and better University. I am utterly convinced of this.
