U2 opens the $2.3b Las Vegas sphere

I saw U2 in 1987, awesome, btw and 2001. Still very good now. I have no plans to see anymore of the AARP tours. I last saw Springsteen app 13 years ago when my son was in high school and it was great to be able to enjoy it with him.

Hard pass for me unless Prince, Freddy, and others come back from the dead lolol.

I saw U2 at the Tower Theater in 1983 on the WAR tour. I was a senior in high school. They played the same show that was later memorialized with the Red Rocks video. Bono marched down our row with the flag.

They quickly went big and played The Spectrum and then stadiums. I swore I'd never see them again. I ended up working at an agency with the husband of their manager. Got plenty of great tickets for family, friends and clients all over the globe. I held firm and never went.

In 2018 we lost our daughter and were pretty much hermits. A neighbor offered to take me to a U2 show At Wells Fargo to get me out into the world. It was a fun tailgate, lovely day and great gesture of friendship. While the show was well reviewed, it wasn't worth it for me. Shoulda taken a pass.

I'm gonna say it; U2 is the most overrated band since the Beatles. Toss in Jimmy Hendrix, and that's my trio of lousiness that's been immortalized.

U2 did this after the Hamas attack in Israel. It is at the sphere. I like Bono changing the lyrics to match and address the 250 kids slaughtered at the Peace Festival rage. But it is clear that Bono's voice, which was never great, is now less

CFO walks out on boss and resigns….appears the boss is a nut job.

It has been known that Dolan is nuts for a long time.

Weren't half the jokes on 30 Rock at his expense?

I mean look at the Knicks and Rangers.

didn't he get into a fight with a HoF former player? Just looked it up, Charles Oakley. There was a lawsuit, IIRC.

My dad used to say "this is what happens when people have more money than brains".

I know a lot of people that aren't taking the old school management tactics. A good friend of mine was getting beat up in a sales forecast call and half way through said she was no longer into it and quit.
