I'm far from bitter. I've gone thru life on scholarship. I spent my high school football years as a slightly above average player...small college as a bench warmer and parlayed my football experience into a 37 year career as an AD/coach. After retiring at 59 I was immediately employed as an interscholastic athletic (league) coordinator. A perfect part time position that compensates me handsomely in addition to my pension. Yes, I'm bitter...LOL...football has been very good to me. In addition, my lifetime experience in athletics has given me the insight to smell a phony even on a message board.
