Yes I enjoy watching games to see how we're progressing and if we can beat the 2 teams on our schedule that pose a threat. I enjoy high quality competitive games which we play very few of so I focus on other aspects. Not everyone wants the same thing. You may like embarrassing Delaware. If that's something you enjoy great but pretending everyone has to is the problem.

Somebody of your football intellect should be able to answer the question about what you would do as a coach to handle the problems you described. A three or paragraph answer is all I requested.
This team is doing well but in other years there were glaring signs, like in 2021 when we could run the ball even vs. Villanova that losses were coming. So no a win is not a win, and is not all that matters. To me there is a little bit of a warning sign that we struggled to run the ball vs a bad Illinois defense. The OL didnt perform very well yesterday imo.

The only criticism of the coaching staff is the didn't utilize the portal enough to fill needs.
Allar struggles are typical of a young QB. He should have gotten more meaningful playing time last year but that ship has now sailed. We need to throw more on first down to put him in position to succeed and we need to move the pocket more because of the struggles with the OL. The WRs are who they are. Hope that Wallace is back and limit McClain playing time. Clifford likely will need to step up.
I said nothing about our run defense. I've actually haven't said anything critical of the defense other than a certain LB who needs to play less and Franklin did exactly that this week.
It's all basic stuff that Franklin knows and we'll see him likely adjust as games go on.
Actually I lied...his decision to kick an XP to go up 16 was beyond stupid but he was coaching against the opponent instead of coaching how he needs to. He falls into that trap too often against bad teams which used to cost us games. Thankfully it no longer does.
Now you can criticize all that if you want but it's accurate and you know it.

Can we stop with the personal attacks on here? We are all fans of a great team that can make the playoff. Wish we could debate about things like, how did JB Nelson and Caeden Wallace look yesterday? Or, should Izzard start? Or should we be concerned about McClains hands? Or why did we struggle to run the ball so much yesterday? Things that are actually good to debate on here, and have fun with it. This site is not meant to be yelling at each other.

I swear the majority of this board watches no college football outside of Penn State. Teams struggles all the time. Florida State almost lost to hapless BC. Georgia was down 11 to a poor South Carolina team. Michigan was only up 8 at half against Bowling Green. Texas was only up 3 at half to Wyoming.
They also think we’re the only team playing and the other team has no effect on what we do. We should just be able to go out and do whatever we want even though the other team has D1 players too trying to stop us.
And there's valid criticisms of all those teams as well. Do you think FSU fans are thrilled today? There more questions about Ohio State than us right now.
