Remember that something like this happened to Clark in Dec of 2016 and he was able to come back and win it.
My first thought too... makes the whole Kerk/Snack thing all the more interesting/weird/unique... like what if they need Snacks this year now?!?!
Hoping for something like that but gotta think there is a difference between 250+ lb guys cranking/sprawling on a shoulder vs a lightweight guy doing the same
I didn't see Dan Monthly out there, it looked like some trainer tried to pop it back in but maybe they are just exercising caution.
Let's hope zero ligament damage and he will be good in a week or two. This was my fear all last year, I hope this doesn't mean he will now be more succeptible to a repeat this year.
I would definitely hold him back from any of the other 'big' heavy heavies. Just a bad mix extended underneath all of that mass on the shoulder joint. We need him against Cassioppi who is pretty thick around the middle but the most important thing is March. We could pull Big Snacks shirt but Cassi worked him pretty good in freestyle already. I wouldn't pull a shirt for just one match but with Kerk in the works Cael has a lot of options.

Yeah yelling 'man strength' after an injury is low class. His only man strength there was his girth from the buffet line laying on top of an open extended shoulder joint.

Think we need to be more positive. Lee , AB and Kerk lost yesterday, but look at the people they beat to get to that point. Than all lost to some of the best in the country/world. Hope for the best with Cassar!
With Shak at 197, push Conel to heavy to buy time for Cassar to heal.

Wow..family function all last night and I’m peaking at this forum for Lee, AB, Anthony, Kerk, Nevills for results and takes on things. I could hear the fear through the posts on Anthony and pray he gets better.
Proud of all the boys so far and their fight. If I have it right, Nevills has to win 2 matches and the rest of the guys just 1 to qualify for trials?

This is correct, with the exception that since Cassar is in the top 6 and assuming he forfeits out, he will be in sixth, so Kerk will already be top 5 and Nevills needs one win to qualify.
And you are right, the injury clouds the day, but every guy we sent performed really well. Lee, Brooks, and Kerkvliet were especially impressive.
Also I wonder if the thought is there to let tony wrestle one more match. He would have the winner of hall vs Nevills. I’d imagine if it all possible tony wants to get qualified and not worry about anymore.
Oh..by the way. I was watching earlier in the day and saw Josh Rod forfeit for not taking the mat on time. Does anyone know what happened there? Seems crazy to me that can actually happen.
I was just about to post this exact same question. I’ve heard Anthony mention his dream is Olympic gold. He may figure screw it, I fight through one match and qualify, then he can focus on healing himself
