USA Wrestling's Statement on Social Justice

As the world became round, the earth was uncentered and the earth began to revolve around the sun there were many who believed they were being lied too, because well they just knew.
They were being lied to at one time (maybe not on purpose -so that may make it less of a lie and more of a case of mistaken info being passed onto them.). Amazingly enough, the first "scientific facts" were the ones that were wrong - which I happen to believe is the case with the virus. It is only your arrogance that makes you think you are right and everyone who believes differently than you is wrong.

There is a huge difference between science learning, and non science using belief to dismiss science.
when science learning is used to dictate people's lives and cause incredible hardships on their lives, it seems wrong to me. Get the understanding before drastically changing the way we live. Climate change scientist have been science learning for years. They have yet to get a prediction correct and still they want to dictate how we live our lives. A lot of the same patterns have been happening with the virus.

Rebel;
I hear what you're saying, and I respect that. Let me explain what I meant by a few things:

"This isn't corporate rhetoric. This is a mantra our company lives by"

Wow. You don't seem to understand that's a prima facie example of corporate rhetoric.

Mantra:

noun
Hinduism. a word or formula, as from the Veda, chanted or sung as an incantation or prayer.

an often repeated word, formula, or phrase, often a truism:If I hear the “less is more” mantra one more time, I'll scream.

Thata boy. I am positive you understand climate change well enough to determine its accuracy. Just like you seemly fail to understand the extreme measures taken have kept the number impacted maybe 10 times lower than they could have been.
Despite the fact it is fairly well accepted that the death count is undercounted, you insist it is artificially inflated. You have no idea why you think that, it just necessary for your belief system. So it is true. Of course you are one of those folks who sincerely believes your opinion on many subjects is valid no matter how little you know of or understand the subject material.

Well I do know there are many PA county coroners that say the numbers reported for their counties are inflated. Plus I know that deaths in nursing homes, that account for about 70% of the total state deaths, are high because of actions made by PA officials, like the one who removed his mother and put her in a hotel first!

I could send you an Allentown Morning Call link quoting the coroner as saying one of the first two Covid deaths in his county died from a blow to the head during a fall.

There are some rumors of people walking around in cemeteries gathering names from the tombstones to add to the Covid death count lists. Oh wait a second, maybe that was just some Democrats signing up new names on their registered voter lists.

Read the article below (sorry it was also posted in another thread). At the micro-level, there may always be some errors in cause of deaths. However, if if you look at total deaths over a time period, compared to expected deaths, that is when you see the numbers. I live in MD, where they had to convert ice rinks into temporary morgues. This increase was not caused by blows to the head during falls.

given the stuff i read here daily, the one thing that really amazes me is,how any stores in the u.s. can keep tin foil on the shelves:rolleyes:.

Pot meet kettle. I find your opinions dangerously uninformed and lacking proper context when you do have information. But carry on please.

I don't know if they chant about it in Camden. But this guy was doing some of the things I was trying to explain in my vocabulary challenged post. Although when you look beyond a prima facie interpretation, you can find there is actually more substance to the mantra.

Yes, Camden has had success with its "defunding the police" approach and funneling money into social services. There was an interesting article about the approach today on CNN.com. When police officers are called into schools to deal with misbehaving elementary school children, it is time to change their role in society, IMO.

Don't worry. Republicans will close enough polling places in urban/suburban areas that the votes won't be counted anyway.
Do you actually believe that crap that your fingers are typing, AgSurfer? Or are you just trolling?.

Sorry - no flame wars will come from this end, especially with another PSU alum.

The greatest thing about sport and especially wrestling is when you step out there, it means absolutely nothing what skin color, hair type, religious affiliation you align with. Therefore the ones who put the work in and have the talent rise to the top and command the respect from spectators. This is why I believe we have so many influential black wrestlers who have performed incredibly well for either Penn State or USA wrestling. I never hear or see any sort of racist undertones in wrestling, once the man beats the other man, no one seems to care. I've never expressed this before, but I am personally happy how diverse Penn State's lineup is at times. I think this element has been a + in terms of team makeup.
