Ut Oh….

HR believed Iowa was just the place Austin needed to be and Tom/Terry were just the coaches to straighten him out. Now it's the "hand they were dealt."
It's the hand all were dealt that have taught/coached/raised him since he was born. They just try to win with those cards. A challenge for anyone.

You guys are trying to complicate what i said to make me look bad. Are we ready to move on? Or keep this going on this beautiful Saturday?

Well.....it is the Christmas season.....as long as he used quality paper and put a bow on

Your attempt to make light of the topic is kind of "iiish", but the manner in which you did it is comically ironic. Maybe if you'd said he rapped a Christmas song or something, but what you choose is comically ironic relative to the criticism/correction you were attempting to direct at the OP.

How do you know "its the hand all were dealt ....since he was born"? To my knowledge (and please correct me if I am wrong and provide a source), his parents have never stated why he has difficulty controlling his emotions. Maybe he is on the spectrum or maybe he is just an asshole who can't control his temper.

I have coached a lot of kids over the last 20 years, quite a few who could not control their emotions. Everytime a kid had an outburst that could not be ignored, I made it quite clear to parent and child that the behavior will not be tolerated. Almost always no more issues, the few who could not, it was see you later.

Set expectations for people with consequences actually works. Maybe the Brands brothers and the University of Iowa should try it.

I never mentioned Autism/spectrum here. Or called him an asshole. I said he was a challenge to coach.
Congrats on your 20 years of coaching kids. You should write a letter to Brands/Iowa and tell them what worked for you. Maybe then they can turn things around

Hurry call whine-one-one, get a whambulamce. We need the antics police and their lead detective Dumbeo.

ALERT! Quincy Monday was seen misbehaving and early reports are that Dumbeo is making up a nasty narrative based on his own reality.

WAIT! this just in. Quincy Monday doesn’t wrestle FOR Iowa he was wrestling AT Iowa.

SQUIRREL!! That damn squirrel is after our nuts!!! Nuts defend yourself.

I guess I remain in the minority of non Iowa fans as I love watching ADS wrestle. I do wish the extra stuff wasn't happening, but I don't want to see him kicked off of the team or punished in harsh ways. He has trouble controlling his emotions, but he is likable to my eyes.

I’ll ask a simple question. Given all we’ve seen from ADS thus far including the Micic incident, the NCAAs incident this year, and this recent incident whatever it was, would anyone be honestly surprised if this kid becomes angered and seriously hurts someone, be it an opponent or a bystander, in the near future?

Should that happen, would anyone say to themselves, wow, I didn’t see that coming?

Tom Brands shares your concerns, and that’s why he is seeking suggestions for “wheel out” music for DeSanto. :)

If Dumbeo turned out to be a nut job hiding the darkest alleys of the Internet on his detachable hard drive would anyone be surprised?

This DeSanto discussion is too long and has too much speculation. It seems to have gone a quarter of the way from BWI-quality toward HR-quality.
Agreed, Dumbeo occupied way too much bandwidth the last week. Normally I only spend a few minutes a week in the checkout lane getting entertained by the National Enquirer.

"Wrapped" a Christmas Song?

How many years of coaching experience did Spencer’s dad have?

You are right, though. With 20 yrs experience under his belt, @Lyons212 need write only a letter, given that Larry needed to assemble an entire binder.

Ben Askren wants to fight or wrestle DeSanto. He plans to keep his streak alive of being pummeled or knocked out by MMA guys, celebrity boxers, and wrestlers. But he will only take the match if he is paid in Bitcoin and doesn't have to go to a second period (or round).
