Utah is going to be a very interesting matchup for Penn State. Honestly not sure who I would take right now.
USC defense is pretty poor for a top ranked team. Their tackling is just horrible.
I wonder how good Utah would look if USC could tackle anyone. They’re the 91st ranked defense for a reason.
A lot will depend on how many Penn State players sit out the Rose Bowl (whoever thought that would be an issue with a Rose Bowl on the line?).
Stylistically Utah is similar to Michigan....which is typically a bad matchup for PSU. I agree, a tough prediction, but Utah's physicality would be a problem.
It’s a good matchup. Utah has lost a few games this year including a loss to bad Florida team
You just know that Utah is going into that game with a vengeance because of their loss to OSU last year; they were dominating that game until Rising got hurt.
Caleb Williams can't move and is a sitting duck if he can't get the pass off quickly. He has no mobility and it's tough to watch him.
No one is beating Utah in their bowl game, no matter who they play.
Yeah, I'm looking forward to the playoff honestly. I do think Michigan gets the easiest game if TCU wins

They actually look like the best team in the country tonight, which is why it’s absurd that there isn’t a real playoffs yet.
3rd best--let's not pretend they look better than Georgia or Michigan because they beat an injured Caleb Williams and a horrible tackling defense.
They’re playing the 91st ranked defense, let’s keep some perspective.
Also, let's be honest--did anyone really think USC was better than Ohio State this year? I'm not even sure USC should be ranked higher than Penn State and Tennessee.
But that was the first game. I think PSU would have a much easier time with Purdue if they played again.
