They were the #1 overall seed. UMBC just lost a game by 44. UMBC only has one other tournament appearance in their history. It is absolutely the biggest upset in CBB history, moreso than Chaminade over UVA.

I don’t think I would although it’s on a bigger stage. FCS vs FBS is a bigger difference in football than basketball. But to be the first 16 seed to win is a pretty big upset.
