A WA state wrestling blog had a great thread giving a lot of background info on the movie which was filmed around Spokane. If I can find the thread again, I'll post the link. The ref in the Louden vs Schute match was actually the head coach at Mead HS at that time. Mead is where the Rogers brothers at Ok State went to HS. Also, you older guys might remember Darrell Keller. He coached one of the wrestlers who was in the movie.
