Volleyball Semi's

Cerame is having a great night. Wish she had stayed at PSU. Could have used her this year
Didn't get to watch very much of this ... the 4 letter network had a HS basketball game on instead of Minnesota - Stanford (at least on my channel listing) so I turned it on at (;15 pm and caught the tail end of that match. Truth is that I wanted Minnesota to win - I like Hugh McCutchen and they have a great program (that will probably tail off a little because of graduation)
With that said, I don't dislike Stanford - also a very classy coach in John Dunning and great program. They are loaded for the future (I think they have 4 freshmen in their starting rotation so if they can stay healthy, they will be a force to be dealt with).
Since the UM/Stanford game ran long, Neb-UT started later than this old guy can stay awake. I did see UT win set 1 decisively and set 2 was even when I passed out. Glad that UT won - for Prieto-Cerame's sake AND because anytime Cook loses it warms my soul.
Don't care who wins tomorrow night ....

Oh how sweet it is to read that Nebraska got swept. It's always a good day for me when any other BigTen team gets beat in any sport. 
Tom Ryan reminds me a lot of Jack Lemmon's character in Glengarry Glen Ross. Very needy and desperate. The gulf in gravitas between him and Cael is startling
