Our touchdown drive late in the 2nd period was a signal that we in fact weren't exactly dominated. It gave us a brief lead but more importantly was an indicator that we had found a way to move the ball, which of course we did so with impunity in the 3rd quarter.

Our kids know it's just not cool to score points in the first half. PSU has always been a trendsetter (zombie nation, 7 nation army, those arm bands that even MSU wore Saturday, etc), the rest of the nation will catch on soon enough.
