Watched Miss Universe last night

I don't know what the criteria is to represent a country - her last name clearly isn't Filipino (Gray). Growing up in DoDDS schools, there were tons of mixed ethnicities from Marine and Filipino/Japanese/Thai/etc. marriages and some seriously beautiful children as a result.

Gray was born in Cairns, Queensland to a Scottish-born Australian father, Ian Gray, from Fraserburgh, and a Filipino mother, Normita Ragas Magnayon, from Oas, Albay.[3] Gray is reportedly named after her paternal grandmother, Catherine Gray (née Ross), an immigrant to Western Australia from Scotland in 1952.

Gray was a student at Trinity Anglican School in Cairns[4] and later earned her Certificate in Music Theory from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. In addition, she obtained a Certificate in Outdoor Recreation and a black belt in Choi Kwang-Do[5]martial arts. Furthermore, Gray was the lead singer of her school's jazz band, and she also starred in local productions of Miss Saigon. After finishing high school in Australia, she then moved to Manila, Philippines where she worked as a commercial model.

As of 2018, Gray is in a relationship with Filipino-German model Clint Bondad.

Not sure how she reps for the country other than she ran in their version of Miss America. I guess it is kind of like representing a country in the Olympics in that all you have to do it pick a country and come up through their process.

one of the great ongoing gags is from "Its always sunny" where the hot gal is flirting with the star who is at the bar. She is really good looking but his friend tells him that the gal is a dude. he can't believe it until she comes out from behind the pool table and has a huge throbber going on. She is so hot, he just can't help himself. So they become an item. She is always finding some way to wear tight pants and push her crotch into his face..
