I have a Niece who is married to a complete moron who thinks he knows much more about investing than he actually knows. (No, he isn't one of the BWI "usual suspects" 
). So lately he has been hounding her about investing in silver.
As far as I can understand what he is doing, he buys silver coins and saves them up as an "investment in silver". I told her privately that he is a f-ing idiot for doing this. Any of you guys who are financial pros want to chime in and help me guide her? Thanks in advance.
