We Are Better!

Offers don't mean they were committable. Not problem with the add but let's not pretend we just stole some kid from Georgia lol

He's our 2nd highest rated player according to 247.
Broad disparity in his ratings right now with Rivals being the outlier at 5.5 which I believe equates to a low 3 star.

247 rated him a solid 4 star and 139th nationally. 4 star and top 230 per ESPN. High 3 star on On3.

Georgia offer? He never visited nor had a named primary recruiter. There was definitely interest by Georgia and Tennessee.

Plus, Matt is from WR Coach Hagans home area in VA.

PSU put some quality passing game highlights on tape against WVU. Continuing to do so will bear much fruit down the road.

Oh wow. Didn't realize he flipped.

This kid is probably 1st 2nd or 3rd on the staffs board. He was the first player to verbal elsewhere in our bad run of summer luck with WR recruiting.

Word is he was leaning last week. Wallace's day was probably the cherry on top.

Tech losing to Vandy probably didn't hurt.

Not a great offers list. Hope for a diamond in the rough.
I am thrilled with this (even if I don't particularly care for "flipping"). I was bummed when he chose VT over PSU in June. Watch his video and do your own evaluation. I see a tank playing WR, with good speed (not like Lex Cyrus who is a blazer), agility, and physicality. He could also play safety. His track sprint times don't overwhelm, but he plays fast.

I'll obviously root for any PSU player but I'm not too excited by this recruiting class that will probably finish ranked ~20. I just hope this group plays above their ranking.
