can settle down in our most comfy chairs to watch Penn State football in just 5 more weeks. I am ready now, but have to watch some boring baseball to get my sports fix in. I truly have this feeling that we are on our way to our 3rd National Championship this coming season. All the stars are aligned for us. This will likely be Saquon Barkley's last year at Penn State, and he has an excellent chance of becoming the 2nd Penn State Heisman Trophy winner. Our OL is more experienced and more highly talented. Our passing game should also improve over last season. Our Defense should also improve and be able to slow down Michigan and OSU so we can outscore them. The momentum from last season and the motivating stinging feeling of the last play in the Rose Bowl has the feeling of our 1985 team losing to Oklahoma to the 1986 season of beating Miami for the MNC. Therefore, I'm ready, are you?

AGREED. We used to go to Wildwood in the mid to late 70's in August before Fall classes started, and hang at the Shamrock. We'd shudder at the number of male Quebecois in Speedos on the beach, likely why'd we retreat to the Shamrock so quickly to wash away the shock.

Damn, was just talking about that today. 7 beers for $1.00 there. We were there and an alum took out a $20. and had the bartender line up 140 glasses for about 10 of us. Knocked them off, and then went to the Playpen in Diamond Beach to see Witness, the excellent Jethro Tull cover band. The Playpen got some fine women thru their doors.
