What are you binge watching?

Started watching Turn: Washington's Spies last week. Almost finished with season 2. Good historical fiction if you are into that.

I plugged into Ozark where I had left off probably a year ago and now basically the show is going that the Mexican drug kingpin wants Wendy to murder Jason Bateman so she can be the Missouri real estate tycoon he had been hoping to partner with all this time. TOO MUCH!

LOKI on Disney+ has been really, really good. Feels 'bigger' and more important to the MCU than both WandaVision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier (both of which I liked a lot). Owen Wilson and Hiddleston have a great rapport and they're a lot of fun to watch. Still not sure if this will be the intro to Marvel's next big bad (people have been saying 'Mephisto' for some time, but he hasn't shown up; my bet is for a 'Beyonder' type 'Secret Wars' plotline, especially once the multiverse is introduced).

I've also been enjoying but struggling a bit with AMC's 'Kevin Can F*** Himself' which stars Schitt's Creek alum Annie Murphy as Allison, the suffering wife of her man-child husband Kevin who is the love child of Peter Griffin and Kevin James' character in 'King of Queens'. Some of the show is shot in traditional, three camera sitcom style complete with laugh track, bright colors, and absurd plotlines (instead of celebrating their anniversary like a normal couple, Kevin is throwing his 'anniversa-rager' for he and his friends while he makes his wife entertain his uptight boss, he spends a bunch of cash on an authentic Bill Belichik sweatshirt, etc.), the other half is what happens to people when they aren't in the sitcom, and there are real world issues to deal with (such as Kevin losing all their savings, Allison running into an ex at a cafe, etc.). Eventually Allison decides she can no longer take her situation and plans to kill Kevin. I'm mixed on how I feel about the show since sitcoms are by nature absurd, and responding to them in a serious fashion makes zero sense, but the story is getting better and it's great to see Annie Murphy given such a big platform. Curious to see where this goes...

Also, Ted Lasso is back on July 23rd!

Bosch was again solid but not spectacular. We'll see how things change for the spinoff series, Bosch 2 or whatever they're going to call it.

Black Summer. Good, early look at zombie apocalypse. Not a lot of sympathy shown for main characters.

The sheer amount of 'stuff' out there to watch is overwhelming. I'm trying to find a place to stream 'Preacher' and 'Lodge 49' so I can finish them up (both AMC shows but not available on the app). Want to start 'Invincible' on Amazon; eventually start and finish 'The Wire' and 'Happy Endings'. There are tons of half hour Brit comedies (Fleabag, Catastrophe, etc.) I'd like to get to. Not to mention all the foreign stuff and travel/cooking shows on Netflix.

I think the big bad in Loki is going to be Kang.
This might be the only thing I've ever liked Owen Wilson in. LOL.
I tried to watch Kevin can F himself but found myself hoping that somehow it merged with the Purge and they would all be killed. Yea I didn't find any redeeming qualities in anyone.
I was a fan of Evil and so far this season is very good.
Mike Coltier is a very, very underrated actor.

Just started Billions a few weeks ago on my flight to Florida. Three episodes into season two. So far it has been really good and has held my attention (which is saying a lot).

I really liked Bosh but didn't think it was as good as the previous seasons.
I hope J Edgar and Irvin Irving go with him to the spinoff.

Really only watching KCFH for Murphy so far. Just love her.

Yea I saw that. Lance Reddick is going to be in the new Netflix Resident Evil series and Jamie Hector is going to be in another Baltimore series about the Freddie Gray riots.

recently I started watching Manifest. It certainly does suck you in. I'm still in season 1, and find it hard to comprehend how much this plot can be milked for what I believe is 3 seasons. I'll stick with it until it gets too preposterous.

Two seasons, there won’t be a third. It jumps the shark midway through Season 2.

Well I've binged on most of everything mentioned here but here was the problem. I didn't snack while watching,........I friggin GRAZED and gained about 10 lbs. that I'm now shedding and then some. Currently -26 lbs. and still going

I watched the first season and thought it was interesting but they "lost" me on season 2.
Lucifer on Netflix is pretty good and I liked this past season with Dennis Haysbert as God.
I thought the family dinner in episode one of this new season was hysterical.
There's a reason why everything tastes like chicken.🤣

I recently binged "This is Pop" on Netflix. First few shows were interesting and informative, but it dropped off toward the end of the series. The Sweden episode was really interesting, but I won't tell the reasons for that.

I’m introducing the wife to The Game with Michael Douglas and Sean Penn, one of my all time favorites. They just added it back to Netflix.

Written by Penn State grad (and David Fincher collaborator) Andrew Kevin Walker. Love that movie.

I was binge-watching Band of Brothers this year during the Memorial Day marathon on History. Did anyone else realize that the main character, Dick Winters -- played by Damien Lewis -- was in real life from Lancaster? He graduated from Franklin and Marshall College, about 40 years prior to me.

One of the sergeants was also from Wilkes-Barre. Pennsylvania was well represented in the 101st Airborne Division.
