I started watching Peaky Blinders from this thread and it's been a great watch. I am about to finish season 4 tonight. I love each season is only 6 episodes. Makes every one of them meaningful. When I see "and Tom Hardy" in the credits I get really excited for the episode. His character Alfie is fantastic in EVERY scene he is in! This last episode when Abreama Gold walks in and Alfie said "Tommy, when a pikey walks in with hair like that, you've got to ask yourself, “Have I made a mistake?” I nearly lost it! Such a great character done in just the right amount.

Oh man - S4 is one of my favorites. Great finale. You’re in for a treat. Adrian Brodie is great as the Italian gangster and I love how everyone sort of lets loose on this show. Murphy and Hardy are great together. Oh - and S5 just gets better…
Breaking Bad and Justified again. I just rotate those 2 now.
Jeremy Clarkson’s Farming. It’s the highest rated show that Amazon has ever aired. They just decided to film a season 2. It’s brilliant- funny and touching at the same time. The real folks who appear on the show are the real stars while Jeremy tends to blunder along trying to learn to farm on his 1000 acres in Chipping Norton or some such place. He’s particularly fond of his sheep! (Not that there’s anything wrong with that)
Not binging per se, but The Ringer Network (Bill Simmons' new enterprise which is documentary/podcast/online entertainment focused and pretty good) has a new documentary series on HBO called Music Box. The first episode is a fascinating look at the absolute sh*t show that was Woodstock '99. You will likely be triggered if you aren't a big fan of people commenting on young, white male rage or of 'nu metal' music, but if you have the tolerance, just watching the events unfold (which starts with - 'It's f'ing hot here, but let's do this!' to 'Let's just destroy and burn down everything!') is weirdly captivating. It really wasn't *that* long ago but feels like a different world (watching non-politically minded Kid Rock say, 20 years ago, 'Kid Rock doesn't talk about politics but let me say Monica Lewinsky is a wh*re and Bill Clinton is a pimp!!' to a frenzied crowd of college-aged bros feels like bizarro world). It's not too long and I liked it.
Watching "Cardinal" on Hulu, season 1 was pretty good, guess there is only 2 seasons..
Very well done documentary, but it goes out of it's way to be a little bit too "woke".
For example, it glosses over the fact that Rage Against the Machine (who is maybe the most socially conscious band of that time period) played in between Limp Bizkit and Metallica.
And while there is no justification for sexual assault, the film makers seemed to have the hypothesis that it was somehow men's fault that women were talking around topless.
Just don't watch the last season Ughhh.
Seasons 1-4 were excellent, the following seasons not so much.
I'm rewatching Daredevil, Luke Cage and the Defenders. They did such great casting, Charlie Cox as Daredevil and Mike Coltier as Luke Cage were excellent choices as was most everyone involved but OMG the guy who plays Iron Fist was horrible.
I sort of agree - though hate using the word 'woke'. They sort of wait until the end of the doc to spring their big conclusion, which was that there was at least a few documented cases of sexual assault/rape, and likely dozens more that were never reported (which is stunning given the sheer number of knuckleheads at this thing). That said, a woman walking around topless or pulling her top off in a crowd isn't an invitation to grope/sexually assault them. Certainly, the complete lack of security and any kind of clothing standard didn't help (watching Flea play bass and having his schlong flopping around doesn't help either).
If I can recommend a good tv program watch Homestead Rescue. The Rainey family are superb. They help families trying to become self sufficient. Just like our founding fathers wanted. Great program on Discovery Channel

Just finished the first season of Billions. I couldn’t wait for it to end. Terrific acting, but the most inane story lines.
Oh, the one where the DA visits S&M dungeons and his rival has pictures of him and his wife? Or the one where the company shrink gets naked into a pool with her equally naked boss for a non-sexual conversation?
I'll buy you a Cosmopolitan in College Park on November 6.
Watching a very good film called The Dig starring Ralph Fiennes about an archeological dig on a woman’s farm in England just before WW2.
Just finished “Clickbait” on Netflix. Pretty good. Quite a bit of twists and turns but overall a good watch.
We started ‘The Night Manager’ which aired on AMC and stars Tom Hiddleston, Hugh Laurie, Elizabeth Debicki, and Olivia Colman (streaming on Prime). Slow burn of a spy story about a former British army soldier turned hotel ‘night manager’ who gets recruited to infiltrate Hugh Laurie’s illegal arms selling inner circle. Some great travel porn too - awesome hotels in various locales (such as the top of the Alps). Based on the book by John Le Care (Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy) - so, it takes its time to put all the pieces on the chess board. We’re going to follow up with another Le Care/AMC series ‘The Little Drummer Girl’ starring Florence Pugh next.

On Amazon Prime: Patriot is quite good, about a spy that is trying to work-over an Iranian election. Kinda funny, and kinda serious- just the right mix. There’s a Luxembourg detective lady that makes my stomach feel funny (hot blonde)
I’ve been watching killing eve. Not sure what it is about the show I like but that English chick is just smoking to me.

Billions is amazing just finished. Wow really good…I pre-judged and thought I wouldn’t like it.
I love Narcos, Sopranos, Justified, SOA felt Billions is right there.
