What are you binge watching?

yes but you'll miss a lot of good episodes. There are little snippets that are just precious. LIke he and a friend are walking on trash day and he throws his old coffee cup in somebody else's trash. The guy comes out and they have a big argument. That happened to me once...I threw trash in somebody else's trash can and a guy walking with me questioned the morality of it. I was like "hey, its trash!"

A
Which is almost as good as the "ornamental" trash cans (I think from the most recent season), i.e. trash cans that you aren't allowed to throw trash in.

Just started “Tell Me Your Secrets” last night. 2 episodes in. So far ehhh for me but I’ll give it the season. Wife is liking it.

I watched the whole thing but had major problems enjoying it. Virtually nobody you want to root for.

This is spot on! I bailed last night after episode 4. There isn’t one person I wanted to see succeed. I could care less about the main character. The mother is hateable while having a background of someone you would want to pull for (especially as a parent). The “private investigator” is a piece of $hit. The counselor is slimy and shady. Throw that all in a bowl and you have a TV show that I couldn’t watch anymore. My wife is still going. She has to see how it plays out. I’ll cut my losses.

I bet I have one nobody's heard of: "Beautiful Kate" -- Australian movie directed by Rachel Ward. Normally I'm not exactly drawn to heavy family dramas involving cancer, incest, suicide, but the cast is so wonderful I couldn't turn it off. It's gloomy but it's beautiful in a way. Ben Mendelssohn, Bryan Brown, Rachel Griffiths and Sophie Lowe (who you may have seen in "Blow the Man Down", which I also recommend highly).

I guess I'll watch just about anything if the writing and acting is this good. It's free if you have Amazon Prime.

Just finished The Crew on Netflix with Kevin James. It was just okay. Kind of like The Ranch with a NASCAR theme.

Yeah. Kevin James is basically the same character in everything he does. Definitely does not have a lot of range.

I am oddly enjoying “”The OA” on Netflix. I am on episode 8 of a total of 16 episodes. Weird, dark humor, and it keeps your attention.

Saw "Nobody" the other night, don't fck with Slipping Jimmy :p

Oh and I can't believe I liked this but I watched Godzilla vs King Kong last night and did.
Just a fun movie and finally a movie thats less than 2 hours. The CGI is incredible. The music they picked....ehhh not so much but the movie itself is fun.

Thanks for reminding me. I’ve often thought that since the pandemic began this is best thread on the board. Like many others I’ve been a binge watching fool. Every time I’m ready to start Better Call Saul something else pops up to distract me. Absolutely, positively and definitely going to begin it tonight. 👍

Kong Skull Island is extremely entertaining with Loki, Captain Marvel, Jules from Pulp Fiction, and Dr Steve Brule. Great actors and just a fun movie, oh and Shea Wigham too!!

Not a binge watch but watched a sweet movie on Prime. The Grand Seduction
I mean how many movies are about cricket on an island off Newfoundland!!
it was fun, beautiful land scapes
Btw it’s a harbor not a village

I binge-watched "Weeds" last week, before it was dropped from the Netflix lineup on April 1. I'm surprised I hadn't heard about it before -- a Showtime series for 8 seasons about 10-15 years ago. Mary Louise Parker is a hottie, and there's plenty of gratuitous sex and nudity throughout. The 'dramedy' is about a widowed mom who picks up a career in dealing weed, and pokes fun at suburbia and pot-dealing before it became legal almost everywhere.

Great show early on then kind of went off the rails. Overall I enjoyed it though.

I was a big fan. Well until they left Agrestic. I didn't like the San Diego episodes as much, got a little too dark for me.
Kevin Nealon, Elizabeth Perkins and Justin Kirk were hilarious.
The guy who played Conrad, Romany Malco is in that weepy This is Us knock off A Million Little Pieces.

Yea once they got to San Diego it wasn't nearly as funny. IMO.
Although the Pool scene with Shane and Pillar and the croquet mallet is freaking awesome.😂🤣

Started watching “Dexter” on my flight to Jamaica a few weeks ago. I’m almost finished season 4. Good show so far ...

Seasons 1-4 were excellent, 5-8 not so much and season 8 is completely forgettable. Its so forgettable I wouldn't bother with it and just wait for the reboot.

Just came across The Orville. Funny stuff, and a plus to have one of the hotties from Friday Night Lights

unfortunately I know how season 4 ends (obviously haven’t seen it yet, 3 more episodes to go) but I’m not sure if I will like it without Rita. She makes him want to be more like a normal human. (She is also incredibly cute)

She was also on Buffy and Angel as Darla...maybe not quite as cute depending on your "taste". ;)

Sat down with my daughter, we thought we were going tobe able to binge the whole new disney series about the basketball coach with John Stamos. Nope, only 1 episode currently out.

Watched Picard and Coyote. Started watching the newer Twilight Zone.

Disclaimer: I tried all 3..finished Picard barely. The others completely gave up after one episode. TZ was extremely bad. High bar though but poor attempt.

Wife and I just started ‘Succession’ last night - pretty good so far. Again, another show with few if any likable characters. But, Adam McKay is an executive producer and he directs the first episode - some strong ‘The Big Short’ vibes (including at least one familiar actor). Solid cast anchored by Brian Cox. Looking forward to watching more.
